Dr David Beales Profile Photo Dr David Beales is a practising physician and was senior partner in a busy Cirencester GP practice for 25 years. David specialises in behavioural medicine as clinician, educator and researcher, and has presented his work in this field to the Royal Society of Medicine, the University of Westminster and The College of General Practitioners, with articles published in the national media.

After qualifying at Guy’s Hospital, London, with further training in Rheumatology, David specialised in General Practice and set up a number of innovative schemes including Stay Well 75 plus: www.staywell75.co.uk. He also set up a charitable trust providing services such as educational guidance and parenting courses, meditation and stress management.

David Beales became Chief Medical Officer to the Bristol Cancer Help Centre in 2000. He taught mind-body medicine and whole person medicine at medical schools, universities and complementary therapy institutions such as the British School of Osteopathy and Centre for Nutrition and Lifestyle Management.

David has developed a working model for unexplained medical symptoms estimated to account for over 50% of medical cases presenting to GPs and hospital outpatients. He has lectured extensively on his research and treatment in this field and is key note speaker for the Medical and Scientific Network Annual Conference in August.

Dr David Beales’ latest achievement is the recent publication of a book in the well known ‘Dummies’ series: ‘Emotional Healing for Dummies’ which has won him further recognition and acclaim.
